Thanks everyone for a great quiz night last night. Once again we broke the €200 barrier in aid of Help for Heroes - THANK YOU EVERYONE!
It was a really close contest last night with only 1/2 point between first and second places and just 3 points that separated the top three teams. So....
Congratulations go to 'The 4 Seasons' who walked away with the 10 points last night, narrowly beating 'CSI' by the narrowest of margins. Third place went to team 'CIA' who had a few team members more interested in the Scotland - France rugby match than the quiz, could this have led to their dropping in the rankings?
Joint fourth went to the 'Darmer Devils' and the 'Funky Gibbons' with a very respectable 64 1/2 points each.
It was great to see some new faces on two new teams last night, all the way from Galatas and Kissamos were 'Nicklindan' and 'The Famous 3'. Better luck next time in the quiz but at least you had a raffle prize to go home with and we all look forward to seeing you again.
The LIMITED EDITION BLACK LANTERN PIRATE was won by our Swedish team on the night, who just happened to have the themed round all about Sweden!!! Unfortunately, it didn't help them that much, but a great attempt by 'Team IQ Miden' at the quiz to get their 26 points and last place prize.
There are only TWO more quizzes left before the end of the Winter Quizzes here at the Black Lantern and remember that the last quiz on 5th April is--------PUNK FANCY DRESS. Dust down your old clothes, rip up your new jeans, get your makeup and hair dye out...it's going to be a great night.
